Carson Tucker

Hi, I'm Carson, thank you so much for visiting my site and welcome!  Just a little about me.  I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and currently split my time between Charlotte and Pawleys Island, SC.  I am a Mom of three, and will be an empty nester in a few years.   I recently married my great love Chris who has supported and encouraged me to put myself and my art out into the world, and I am so thankful for him and his enthusiasm for my newest endeavor.  

I have always had a passion to create, designing and selling ribbon belts and bow earrings to boutiques in the 80s.  In the late 90s I had a boutique bag business designing beach, diaper,  and handbags that sold across the country. I am also an attorney, but stopped practicing law when my third baby was born.  The creative yearning has continued and my latest passion has been shelling and turning shells into art.  I have always felt a deep connection to the sea and what started as a love of beach-combing and collecting shells evolved into a passion for transforming natural treasures into elegant works of art.

Each piece in the Carson Tucker Designs collection is handcrafted with care — from hand-painted scallop shells adorned with delicate chinoiserie patterns to gold-leafed oyster shells that catch the light just right. I feel my work celebrates the beauty of coastal living with a refined, timeless aesthetic.

Whether it's a shadow box composition framed in natural driftwood, a set of painted shells arranged as wall art, or an individual oyster shell transformed into a decorative treasure, every creation tells a story of the shore.
